Our 180 year old Charentaise style farmhouse sits in the fields of Saint Jean d'Angély, a few minutes drive from the historic town centre.

​

Saint Jean d'Angély is known for its historic medieval town centre. It features many restaurants and cafés and offers lovely river walks along the Boutonne, There is a range of cultural and artistic events and activities throughout the year.

Our quirky home has a French feel. Suites are styled to be individual and comfortable.

Our rooms

We have 3 lovely, spacious suites - 

• All have their own private modern bathroom

• All have a king size bed, 160 x 200 cm

• All are situated on an upper floor, accessed by stairway (some guests find them a little steep)

• All are for 1 to 2 people only

Hirondelle Suite is upstairs in the main house. This spacious suite of 34 square metres, includes a dressing room for clothes and luggage. An adjoining sitting area with a view of the garden, dressing table and mirrors. It also has its own private modern en suite bathroom.

Mirabelle Suite is upstairs in the main house. This generous suite is 46 square metres with hanging space for clothes and luggage. A dressing table, mirrors, adjoining private, modern bathroom. Also a sitting area with garden views. 

​

Jardin Suite is adjoining the main house with its own entrance. It is on two floors and a spacious 44 square metres to enjoy.

Downstairs is open plan with sitting area, dining table and simple kithenette.

Upstairs is the open plan bedroom with a king size double bed and integral shower cubicle and sink (with the toilet in a separate cubicle).

• Our front door is locked at night at 23:30. 

• We are a strictly no smoking or vaping property. A charge will be incurred if damage or extra cleaning or loss of earnings occurs.

• We do not accommodate children or babies as the house is unsuitable and there are no facilities for them. Please be aware your booking will be void.

• Dogs and pets are not accommodated anywhere on our property, this includes the parking area and private track to the house. For allergies and protecting the local wildlife. 

• Extra guests are not permitted.
